William Henry is known for combining exquisite handcraft with precise machine work, and this blend of form and function has been a hallmark of our brand since the beginning.

Our latest embellishment technique lives up to that standard, and the mastermind behind this hybrid process is engraver Tom Sterling. His technique combines organic attributes of hand engraving with the painstakingly detailed programming of laser engraving.

This piece features 8 engraving levels and a full week of laser programming. A visionary use of laser work is found in the ultra-fine geometric patterns. If done by hand, this would be very time consuming and would have a completely different effect. The final layers of hand engraving bring the organic touches achieved only by human hand.

The 'Cyber Skull' also features 10,000 year-old woolly mammoth tusk, and hand-forged 'Hornets Nest' damascus blade by Mike Norris.  The thumbstud and lock button are set with spinel gemstones.
